Child care software for Wyoming centers
The parts of running a center that depend on your state, set up for Wyoming instead of left for you to build.
Immunizations by your state's schedule
Each child's vaccines are checked against the CDC childhood schedule for their age, so the office sees who is due.
Staff-child ratios in Wyoming
From Wyoming Rules, Department of Family Services, Child Care Licensing (049.0033), Chapter 11 § 2(b), Ratios and Group Size (effective 04/21/2026). In Farlow you set these bands once, and every room is counted against them as children check in and out.
| Age | Children per staff member | Largest group |
|---|---|---|
| Infants (birth to 12 months) | 4; 8 with 2 staff; 10 with 3 staff | 10 |
| One-year-olds (12 to 24 months) | 5; 10 with 2 staff; 12 with 3 staff | 12 |
| Two-year-olds (24 to 36 months) | 8; 16 with 2 staff; 18 with 3 staff | 18 |
| 3 and 4 year olds | 12; 24 with 2 staff; 30 with 3 staff | 30 |
| School age (5 and older) | 18; 32 with 2 staff; 40 with 3 staff | 40 |
In a group of mixed ages, the youngest child's ratio and group size apply to the whole group (Wyo. Admin. Code 049.0033.11 § 2(b)(i)).
The ratios step by staff count: with two staff, school-age children are 32, not 36. Children under two mixed with other ages follow the rule's own combinations, which the calculator does not count. Group size may be exceeded for up to an hour at opening, closing and special events (4-2(e), 7-2(e)).
Read on November 1, 2026 from the state's published rule. The rule itself is what an inspector goes by.
