Child care software for North Dakota centers
The parts of running a center that depend on your state, set up for North Dakota instead of left for you to build.
Immunizations by your state's schedule
Each child's vaccines are checked against the CDC childhood schedule for their age, so the office sees who is due.
North Dakota licensing forms, ready to send to families
2 official forms, fetched from the state's own site and kept in Farlow's form library. Pick one, mark where the answers go, and families fill it in and sign on their phone, with reminders until it comes back. Each name below opens the form on the state's own site.
North Dakota HHS, Early Childhood Licensing
- Child Information Sheet (SFN 845) (2 pages, checked )
- Parent's Statement on Health of Child (SFN 847) (2 pages, checked )
The date by each form is the day Farlow last matched it against the state's site. A weekly check flags any link that stops working or whose file changes. States revise their forms, and the state's site has the current one.
Staff-child ratios in North Dakota
From North Dakota N.D. Admin. Code 75-03-10-08, child care center staffing and group size requirements. In Farlow you set these bands once, and every room is counted against them as children check in and out.
| Age | Children per staff member | Largest group |
|---|---|---|
| Under 18 months | 4 | 10 |
| 18 to 36 months | 5 | 15 |
| Three years | 7 | 20 |
| Four years | 10 | 25 |
| Five years | 12 | 30 |
| Six to twelve years | 20 | 40 |
In a group of mixed ages, each age group's count is multiplied by its ratio as a decimal (one to four is .25) and the results are added; a fraction of .35 or more means one more staff member, less is dropped (N.D. Admin. Code 75-03-10-08(2)(c)).
A mixed group with a child under 18 months is limited to 10 children. Otherwise the rule sets a mixed group's size by the age of most of the children or by the youngest age group, without saying which, so ask your licensing specialist (75-03-10-08(2)(b)).
Read on October 29, 2026 from the state's published rule. The rule itself is what an inspector goes by.
