Child care software for Idaho centers
The parts of running a center that depend on your state, set up for Idaho instead of left for you to build.
Immunizations by your state's schedule
Each child's vaccines are checked against the CDC childhood schedule for their age, so the office sees who is due.
Staff-child ratios in Idaho
From Idaho Code § 39-1109(4), daycare facility child:staff ratio (point system). In Farlow you set these bands once, and every room is counted against them as children check in and out.
| Age | Children per staff member | Largest group |
|---|---|---|
| Under 24 months | 6 | No limit set |
| 24 to 36 months | 9 | No limit set |
| 36 months to 5 years | 13 | No limit set |
| 5 to 13 years | 25 | No limit set |
In a group of mixed ages, each child counts a number of points set by age, and the points for each staff member may not go over the limit (Idaho Code § 39-1109(4)(a)).
Idaho counts points, not children: under 24 months 2, 24 to 36 months 1.33, 36 months to 5 years 0.923, 5 to 13 years 0.48, with at most 12 points per staff member. The table shows the most children of one age for each staff member (Idaho Code 39-1109(4)).
Read on October 29, 2026 from the state's published rule. The rule itself is what an inspector goes by.
