Staff-child ratios in Hawaii
From Hawaii Administrative Rules Chapter 17-892.2, Licensing of Group Child Care Centers and Group Child Care Homes, § 17-892.2-36. In Farlow you set these bands once, and every room is counted against them as children check in and out.

In a group of mixed ages, the youngest child's ratio and group size apply to the whole group (HAR § 17-892.2-36(d)(1)).
Group child care centers take children 2 and older; infants and toddlers are licensed as infant and toddler centers (chapter 17-895.1). Where a curriculum calls for mixed ages, the average of the ratios may apply for up to three hours a day (17-892.2-36(d)(2)).
