Staff-child ratios in Delaware

From Delaware 14 DE Admin. Code 933, DELACARE Regulations for Early Care and Education and School-Age Centers, 27.0. In Farlow you set these bands once, and every room is counted against them as children check in and out.

In a group of mixed ages, the youngest child's ratio and group size apply to the whole group (14 DE Admin. Code 933, 27.3).

With 12 or fewer children in the center, a group may go over its size as long as the ratio is kept. A center may ask for a variance to 1:20 for school-age children taught by a certified Delaware teacher (933, 27.1 and 27.4).
