Child care software for Kentucky centers

The parts of running a center that depend on your state, set up for Kentucky instead of left for you to build.

Immunizations by your state's schedule

Each child's vaccines are checked against the CDC childhood schedule for their age, so the office sees who is due.

Staff-child ratios in Kentucky

From Kentucky 922 KAR 2:120, Child-care center health and safety standards, Section 2(2). In Farlow you set these bands once, and every room is counted against them as children check in and out.

Infants, under 12 months510
Toddlers, 12 to 24 months612

Where two numbers are given, the rule lets the center choose: the first ratio goes with the first group size.

In a group of mixed ages, the youngest child's ratio and group size apply to the whole group (922 KAR 2:120, Section 2(2)(b)).

For school-age children seven and older, the first number is before and after school and the second a full day of care. Group sizes apply only to Type I centers (922 KAR 2:120, Section 2(2)).

Read on November 1, 2026 from the state's published rule. The rule itself is what an inspector goes by.
